January went by so fast and now it's time for games!!! We have our first games (we always play double-headers) on Saturday February 6th against HPU! They are going to be some intense games! I'm still working back into throwing so I don't know how much or if I will be playing on Saturday but I'm still so excited. If I do get to play on Saturday it will be my first time playing at the collegiate level (since I didn't play last year)!!! Depending on how this weeks practice turns out I could be playing a little bit :) I hope that I can at least play a few innings. I'm looking into getting the games recorded so that I can send it to those who want to can see them, let me know if you want to watch the games.
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point and continues to bless my life everyday! I wouldn't be here without all of the wonderful people who have helped me along the way. All the hard work is paying off :)

New Year, New Semester
Well everybody it is a new year and a new semester, so that means new goals and new adventures!! I am back in Hawaii after a two week break in which I went home to Utah. I loved being home and honestly did not want to leave, I definately could have used another week or two...or three lol. I spent alot of time with the family and some of my close friends. I loved being in the cold and wearing my winter clothes!! haha, silly and weird I know ;)
I had an interesting flight back to Hawaii, I ended up getting stuck in Portland overnight. My flight was an hour late leaving SLC so therefore I was late getting to Portland and missed my connection. There weren't anymore flight going to the islands that day so I had so spend the night in Portland. It ended up being really fun! I met a girl from my school, Sara, that had the same problem, the airlines put us up in a hotel and gave us some money for food. We spent the day together and ended up sharing a room, it was really fun to get to know her and now were good friends. It's fun seeing her around campus and laughing about our night in Portland.
One of the highlights though was this older couple we met. They were on our flight and ended up missing their connection to Maui. They are from Missouri and were headed to Maui to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. They are catholic and the husband was actually a minister. They were the cutest couple and were so happy even though they were losing a day in Maui because of the flight complications. One thing I learned from them is that as long as you have a positive outlook on life and realize that Heavenly Father makes things happen for a reason, nothing will ever dampen your day!!! Because of that and being able to laugh with them it changed my whole perspective. What had been an inconvenience ended up being a really fun adventure!
School has started and I'm taking Economics 201, English 201, Psychology 111, Biology 100 and D&C II. It's going to be another busy semester, especially with softball, but I'm going to enjoy it! We have started up practice again and are getting ready for our first game on February 6th. While I was home I went and saw our doctor and got my back fixed up. I feel so much better!!! I'm throwing agian, hitting and taking infield :D. It feels so good to actually be playing and practicing with my team. I'm really excited for this season and think we are going to do really well.
I hope everybody is doing great! It was so good to see everybody over christmas break, I can't wait to see you again in the summer :D. I Love you all, keep in touch!!!
